So you want those brows - what happens next?
Before any we can go ahead with any treatment, it's important to have a consultation with Sarah Jane, our fully trained practitioner. This gives the opportunity to discuss what is involved and to make sure the treatment is right for you. You will also be able to discuss the shape and colour you're looking to achieve.
After your Consultation, a full skin tone analysis will take place in order to determine what pigments to use to achieve your desired brows, taking your skin tone and hair
colour into consideration.
Once a colour has been successfully matched a brow shape will be drawn on with a pencil and calipers will be used in order to get your perfect measurements. You will be able to confirm that the shape and colour is correct before the procedure takes place, you can be rest assured that no procedure will take place until you are completely satisfied. A topical numbing cream will be applied in order to keep you as comfortable as possible.
The procedure takes between 60 - 90 minutes and a digital machine is used to implant pigment into the skin. You may feel a little "scratchy " sensation but the topical numbing cream will be applied throughout the procedure in order to keep you comfortable. You will then be given your aftercare pack which is advice we ask you to follow in order to get the best from your treatment.
An appointment will need to be made in order to check your healed brows (usually 4-6 weeks later) and to take care of any adjustments. This is included in the initial price and is a very important step in finalising the desired look - you can then really enjoy those BROWS!
Maintenance / Colour boost
Permanent Makeup does fade over time and exposure to the sun and skin tone are contributing factors. In order to keep those brows looking beautiful you may need a colour boost. It is recommended you re-turn for a free consultation 12 - 18 months later to discuss. Colour boosts are at a reduced price within 18 months of first application.
We are also prescribers of ActFast, a topical adrenaline that helps to minimise bleeding and swelling and therefore contributes to the overall comfort. This is recommended during semi permanent procedures and is an optional, prescribed item that is charged at an additional cost of £35.00.
Patch tests required for all treatments.
